| Event: Adult Asperger's Support Group |
| Description: |
Are you an adult living with Asperger's Syndrome who feels alone or isolated? Come and share your life experiences with other adults who also have Asperger's. This group will focus on the issues that these adults face including social and relational situations, while offering feedback to each other about strategies for handling them. Discussions will vary and may cover symptoms, traits, and characteristics of Asperger's Syndrome, as well as special strengths and talents that these individuals may possess. FEAT-NT recognizes the need for adults with Asperger's Syndrome to form relationships and problem solve with one another, and is pleased to help facilitate this support group.
Adult Asperger's Support Group Meetings on the Second Wednesday of the month will be at the FEAT-NT Resource Center and Library, while meetings on the Fourth Wednesday of the month will be held at the Easter Seals Fort Worth Hemphill location. See specific meeting dates to confirm location. |
